Keeping an eye on hotly contested space
Defence is trialling a new space surveillance sensor in South Australia to monitor objects and activity in space. The 12-month trial uses the Australian-built SkyDome system, developed by Quasar Satellite Technologies, to improve how Defence tracks and understands the space environment.
